Graham Filmer is an expert in communication skills, where he puts his experience to work in a range of disciplines, including public relations, presentation skills and dialogue selling with a particular emphasis on telemarketing skills.
Prior to branching out on his own, Graham enjoyed senior sales & marketing roles within GE Capital, Bank of Scotland, Lloyds Bank and Holiday Inns. In these roles he was actively responsible for the creation of business strategy, brand development and the creation of direct sales businesses, establishing a number of substantial and highly successful inbound and outbound telephone sales teams.
Graham has actively been involved in the creation and delivery of training and mentoring programmes, covering marketing communications, media management, telemarketing and presentation skills. Within Imparta, Graham has written and delivered the following programmes for O2; Generating Appointments to Maximise Sales, Creating Valued Appointments, Winning in Retention.
Graham has actively worked within the following business sectors; financial services, automotive retailing, automotive manufacturing, hospitality, house construction; working across the UK, Europe and the USA.
Graham holds an MBA, Diplomas in Marketing and Direct Marketing, an FLA Diploma, a Six Sigma Black Belt Quality qualification; he is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, member of the Institute of Public Relations and Fellow of the Institute of the Motor Industry. Graham is also a freelance journalist and is a frequent speaker on marketing and performance issues.
