Richard Barkey, Chief Executive, founded Imparta in 1997. Formerly at McKinsey & Co, where he spent four years as a strategy consultant and then three years pioneering the use of simulation-based training at the firm. When leaving, he retained the intellectual property rights to the approaches, software and tools he had developed. At Imparta Richard continues to be the chief learning architect, while also taking overall responsibility for the direction of the business. Richard holds an MA in Engineering and an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School.
