The main steps in designing the questionnaire include:

  • Selecting a competency model based on the skills to be assessed. This can be:
    • A generic competency model provided by Imparta – we have a range of models that cover sales, marketing, account management, management, leadership and service
    • Your existing competency model – we can create a questionnaire directly from your existing competency model
    • A bespoke model – we can help you build a custom competency model. Many of our clients come to Imparta seeking our assistance to work alongside their HR/L&D functions and senior management to create competencies that describe best practice in their organisation/division or team
  • Create effective behaviour statements based on the competency model
  • Agree who will provide feedback
  • Load the questionnaire into the on-line system
  • Send email invitations to all respondents
